  10. TrayCalendar allows a user to add the date to the system tray
  11. as text or an icon.

  15. TrayCalendar was written for Windows NT 4.0 and Windows Æ95.

  20. o Displays convenient date text or icon next to the task bar clock.
  21. o Displays convenient tooltip over TrayCalendar task bar icon. 
  22. o Many user-customizable date features
  23. o Delayed startup to place TrayCalendar/icons next to time value
  24. in system tray.
  25. o Automatic refresh of date to keep TrayCalendar next to the time
  26. in the system tray.

  28. Installation
  29. ------------
  30. TrayCalendar is distributed in 2 ways:
  31. A. As a self-installing executable (exe)
  32. B. As a zip file containing the base files for TrayCalendar
  33.  
  34. o For the self-installing executable, simply doubleclick
  35.   on the .exe and follow the on-line instructions.
  36.  
  37. o For the zip file, unzip the file and place all the files in a
  38.   new folder, perhaps called "TrayCalendar".  To run the program,
  39.   execute or double-click TrayCalendar.exe.
  40.  
  41. o For both installations, to schedule TrayCalendar to always run
  42.   at startup of Windows NT or '95, create a shortcut in your
  43.   "Startup" folder.

  45.   Detailed shortcut information:
  46.   Using the Explorer, right click and drag TrayCalendar.exe and drop
  47.   it in your Startup folder,  choose "Create Shortcut Here" from the
  48.   popup menu.  For detailed help, please see the manual for NT or
  49.   '95, refer to "Shortcuts."

  52. Uninstallation
  53. --------------
  54. If you installed using the self-installing .exe file:
  55. Go to Control Panel -> Add/Remove programs and select TrayCalendar
  56. from the listing - TrayCalendar will automatically uninstall.
  57.  
  58. If you manually unzipped the TrayCalendar files:
  59. Delete the folder you created during the install, perhaps
  60. "TrayCalendar".  All the files and settings used by TrayCalendar
  61. will be deleted.

  64. Registration
  65. ------------
  66. TrayCalendar is Shareware.  You may use it for a trial period of
  67. 30 days.  After 30 days, you must either register the product or
  68. discontinue usage of it.  The registration fee is US $15.

  70. Why should I register?

  72. o Registration of TrayCalendar will entitled you to all versions
  73.   of TrayCalendar, now and in the future.
  74. o You will be supporting the Shareware concept and keeping
  75.   Shareware prices low for everyone.
  76. o Although all feedback and/or comments are much appreciated, your
  77.   input on what new features should be included in new releases of
  78.   TrayCalendar may carry greater weight.

  83. Using the EBus on-line registration:
  84. Go to http://www.ebus.simplenet.com/registration.htm for TrayCalendar
  85. on-line registration or select Register via the web from the on-line
  86. TrayCalendar Popup Menu.

  88. Using the EBus registration program:
  89. Select Register by mail, fax, or e-mail from the on-line Popup Menu or
  90. execute Register.exe located in your TrayCalendar directory.

  101. Quick Introduction to TrayCalendar Usage 
  102. -------------------------------------
  103. o Click with mouse button 2 on the TrayCalendar icon to access
  104.   the Popup Menu 
  105.    o Use Adjust Date/Time to change the system Date/Time.
  106.    o Use Options to change the options for TrayCalendar. 
  107.    o Use About to view the About screen for TrayCalendar and/or
  108.      register TrayCalendar.
  109.    o Use Register to register your version of TrayCalendar.
  110.    o Use Help to access the TrayCalendar Help.
  111.    o Use Exit to exit TrayCalendar.

  113. o Double-clicking the TrayCalendar icon duplicates the system
  114. feature of double-clicking on the time value in the system tray - 
  115. It allows you to adjust the system Date/Time values.
